Hinduism is known as Sanatana Dharma (Eternal Dharma) because it is not founded by any person or persons. It has evolved from the spiritual life of all the people of India for over 5000 years. It rests on universal and eternal spiritual principles and not on beliefs and dogmas, or on the words of a Prophet etc. It keeps on growing vaster and richer and improving upon the past by incorporating the discoveries and teachings of great spiritual men and women, even from outside, from to time. It invites noble thoughts from everywhere.
